Our president and founder, Bill Greene, has 35 years of experience in the healthcare arena, and was the founding CEO of Premier Gastroenterology Associates (PGA) in Little Rock, where he was responsible for creating a seven-partner gastroenterology practice.
He led PGA from initial development to a fully functioning medical practice and ambulatory surgery center with 60+ employees including physicians and physician extenders.
He directed all activities for real estate acquisition and development as he led PGA in purchasing a vacant K-Mart retail facility and developing it into an 80,000 square foot medical Plaza which includes the medical practice, 35,000 square foot clinic and ambulatory surgery center, the UAMS outpatient urology clinic and a Baptist Health outpatient weight loss clinic. The development also includes multiple outparcel retail tenants who generate substantial monthly rental income.
Bill directed all aspects of building and developing the Premier Surgery Center, with two operating rooms, seven procedure rooms and associated pre-op and post-op areas as well as all ASC support functions.
He was responsible for all activities associated with the practice and surgery center start-up including revenue cycle management, development of policy & procedures, financial and legal infrastructure, growth initiatives and new service offerings, as well as staffing, physician recruiting and onboarding.
Bill currently provides administrative, revenue cycle management and business development expertise to a high volume regional orthopedic practice in central Arkansas. In this role he increased monthly revenue by over 50% and was responsible for a decrease in first pass denials, while creating efficiencies which reduced monthly expenses.
Bill also spent 18 months assisting Shewmake Plastic Surgery/The Skin Retreat MedSpa in Little Rock, Arkansas, with responsibility for developing strategic initiatives for business growth and future expansion. He was also responsible for operational efficiencies and developing strategic relationships to aid in achieving business goals. In this role he developed a comprehensive benchmarking program, using key performance indicators mined from industry specific data and respected authoritative sources.
As a business leader Bill consistently focuses on revenue growth through patient acquisition and strategic practice expansion. He is also passionate about improving the patient experience though employee development & engagement, and this approach was a contributing factor in Premier Gastroenterology being named “Best Gastroenterology Practice in Arkansas” and Bill being recognized as “Best Boss in Arkansas”. Additionally, Bill was honored as a Healthcare Hero finalist in the healthcare innovation category for his work in practice development and enterprise growth.
